I am continuing to see clients in person. To reduce the risk of infection, the windows will remain open and the room disinfected between sessions. If you display any symptoms, please take an LFT and only attend if it is negative. Normal cancellation rules still apply but zoom sessions are available instead.
Anxiety; it is talked about a lot but it is not the same thing for everyone.
You may be having trouble sleeping, you may have noticed your eating habits have changed, you may be drinking more or taking drugs, you may have cut back on socialising. Your thoughts may be getting louder or busier and more intrusive.
Your stomach may be churning more, your heart may feel like it is about to jump out of your chest, you may be finding it difficult to concentrate.
You may be feeling emotions you would rather not be feeling like fear, sadness, isolation, loneliness or misunderstood; or you may be so used to feeling them you cannot see an alternative.
I work with adults who exerience anxiety around loss which can include:
Loss of childhood
Loss of a loved one
Loss of an abuser
Loss of a home
Loss of innocence
Loss of a job
Loss of independence
Loss of a relationship
Loss of self-worth/self-belief/self-esteem
Loss of safety
Loss of connection
Loss of the life you thought you would have but didn't
What would it be like to understand your anxiety? To quieten those intrusive thoughts, to understand and build a positive relationship with your feelings and reduce the physical response to them? What would it be like to know the root cause of your anxiety? To reduce its power so you can live your life with it rather than be governed by it.

By working together, we will develop a relationship that will allow us to safely explore what is going on for you now and how your past relationships and/or experiences may be impacting your present. We will look at reconnecting your mind with your feelings and your physical response to those feelings so you can become a more wholesome you. Your own curiosity of yourself can deepen this process, to allow the growth and change within you and develop the relationship with your anxiety, self and others.
You can contact me via email or telephone; details can be found at the bottom of this page. If I am unavailable, please leave a message including your telephone number and I will call you back as soon as I can.
Please note, I do not always check my messages at the weekend.
All sessions last for 50 minutes. Our initial session will take place in The Garden Room which is located in a quiet corner of our garden and if we are both happy to work together, we will set up a weekly session.
I believe we are all capable of growing and changing, but it can be easier to do with someone impartial by your side. I offer you support, a place where you will be seen for who you are and who you can be, where your voice will be heard without judgement, where you will be accepted with empathy and understood with curiosity.

A brief introduction to me, who I am, how I work, where I work and with whom I work. Please feel free to email, text or phone me regarding any questions you may have. Thank you for watching.
A little walk around The Garden Room and the garden to show you where we will be working together if you choose this option. It is a light, airy, relaxing and calming space for you to be.
Being outdoors can be so beneficial, not just for our physical health but for our mental health as well. It is calming, relaxing and can make us feel happy.
